Una Vita, Inc. (“Una Vita,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit una-vita.com, communicate or work with us, or use software or other digital services offered by or on behalf of Una Vita (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us and which Services you use.

Information You Provide to Us

We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

• Information you provide when contacting us, requesting information, scheduling a meeting or demonstration, or engaging our consulting services;
• Account information, such as your name, email address, login credentials, and account preferences, if you create an account for an Una Vita software service;
• Information you enter, upload, or submit through our software, including questions, messages, feedback, and other content;
• Depending on the software service, information such as pregnancy or due-date information, family or parenting information, or other information you choose to provide; and
• Information provided in connection with a consulting or advisory engagement.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use our website or software, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:

• Operating system;
• Device or application identifiers;
• Pages, features, or content accessed;
• Dates and times of access;
• Referring pages;

2. Health-Related Information and PHI

Una Vita specializes in healthcare and some Una Vita software may address healthcare, pregnancy, childbirth, parenting, wellness, or related topics.

As a result, users may voluntarily provide information that could be considered health-related or sensitive personal information under applicable privacy laws.

Protected Health Information

Una Vita’s general website and consumer-facing software offerings are not designed or intended to receive Protected Health Information (“PHI”) regulated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).

Do not enter, upload, transmit, or otherwise provide PHI through Una Vita software.

In particular, users should not submit information that identifies an individual as a patient of a healthcare provider together with information concerning that person’s medical condition, treatment, diagnosis, medical record, or other information that may constitute PHI.

If Una Vita enters into a separate written arrangement with a healthcare organization involving regulated information, the handling of that information will be governed by the applicable agreement and applicable law.

Other Health-Related Information

Information does not have to constitute PHI under HIPAA to be considered sensitive or protected health information under other privacy laws.

For example, information a user voluntarily provides about pregnancy, reproductive health, symptoms, wellness, medications, or other health-related matters may constitute “consumer health data” or sensitive personal information under applicable state law.

We handle such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and any additional privacy notice applicable to the relevant Service.

Una Vita does not sell consumer health data or use consumer health data for targeted advertising.

3. Consulting and Advisory Engagements

Una Vita provides professional consulting and advisory services to hospitals, health systems, and other organizations.

During a consulting engagement, Una Vita may receive confidential business, operational, clinical, or other information from a client.

Information provided to Una Vita by a client in connection with such an engagement may be governed by separate confidentiality agreements, professional-services agreements, data-use requirements, or other contractual terms.

To the extent there is a conflict between this general Privacy Policy and a written agreement governing information supplied by a client, the applicable written agreement will control.

Some Una Vita software offerings may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) technologies to respond to questions, generate content, provide educational information, or perform other functions.

Information you submit to an AI-enabled feature may be transmitted to and processed by service providers that provide AI models, cloud computing, hosting, or related technology necessary to operate that feature.

These providers may process information only as permitted by our agreements with them and applicable law.

Users should not submit PHI through Una Vita’s AI-enabled Services.

AI-generated information may be incomplete or inaccurate and is provided for informational and educational purposes. Una Vita software is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

6. How We Share Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

Service Providers

We may provide information to third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as:

• Cloud computing and hosting providers;
• AI and software infrastructure providers;
• Website hosting providers;
• Authentication and account-management providers;
• Communications and email providers;
• Analytics and performance-monitoring providers;
• Security providers; and
• Professional advisers and other service providers.

We provide these parties with information as reasonably necessary for them to perform services for us.

White-Label and Client-Sponsored Services

Una Vita may provide certain software under another organization’s name, branding, or sponsorship.

If you use such a Service, the sponsoring organization may receive information associated with your use of the Service as described when you access it.

The sponsoring organization’s own privacy policy may also apply to its collection and use of information.

Where Una Vita processes information on behalf of another organization, that organization’s instructions and applicable agreement with Una Vita may govern our processing of that information.

Legal and Safety Purposes

• Respond to lawful government requests;

Una Vita does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Una Vita does not sell consumer health data.

We do not use consumer health data for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

If our advertising or tracking practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.

If you receive promotional email from Una Vita, you may unsubscribe using the instructions included in the communication or by contacting us.

Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may continue to send communications necessary to provide a Service, respond to a request, or manage an existing business relationship.

13. Children’s Privacy

Unless a specific Service expressly provides otherwise, Una Vita’s Services are intended primarily for adults.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without the authorization required by applicable law.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in a manner prohibited by law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Those organizations operate under their own privacy practices and policies. Una Vita is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control.
